Cosby Golf Club - Cosby

Situated in the heart of the English Midlands, Cosby provides a challenging round of golf to both low handicap golfers and the more social player. With a par 71 and a length of 6438 yards it has attracted some of the best golfers in the area as members, with several members of the current Mens and Ladies County First Teams, as well as the individual Ladies County Champion. The Club celebrated its Centenary in 1995 and has since then undertaken major improvements to ten greens. Visitors are welcome Monday - Friday when they can be certain of a warm welcome along with full clubhouse facilities and professional services.

The University of Leicester

The University of Leicester, based in Leicester, England, was founded in 1921 with nine students. The fledgling College gained full degree-awarding powers in 1957 when it was granted its Royal Charter. Today the University has approximately 19,000 registered students. It is a research-led University that offers academic programs in the fields of Medicine and Biological Sciences; Arts, Humanities and Social Science; Law; Science; and Teaching.

De Montfort University - Leicester

De Montfort University is a dynamic organisation, formed from a diverse range of specialist institutions. Its long history of excellent teaching, learning and research is founded in the technical and trade education of the late 19th Century. The name itself is associated with Simon De Montfort, Earl of Leicester, a distinguished figure in English history and widely credited with establishing the first parliament in 1265.

Leicester Railway Station

Leicester station is a railway station in Leicester, England. It is just east of the city centre, on the A6 road. The first station on this site was constructed by the Midland Counties Railway and was first used on 4 May 1840, when a train of four first and six second-class carriages, pulled by the 'Leopard' steam engine, arrived from Nottingham. All that remains of the first station are a pair of Egyptian-looking gateposts in Campbell Street. The station was subsequently operated by the Midland Railway, who rebuilt it in 1894. Leicester used to have several other railway stations, including Leicester Belgrave Road (on the Great Northern Railway), and Leicester Central (on the Great Central Railway).

Leicester College is a further education college in Leicestershire, England. The College has over 24,000 students. The College is recognised as a Wella Centre of Excellence in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. The College has four main campuses - the Abbey Park campus, Bede Island campus, Freeman's Park campus and St Margaret's campus. LC offers courses in AS/A2 levels, Art and Design, Beauty and Complementary Therapies, Business, Childcare and Early Years Education, Computing, Construction, Continuing Studies, Engineering, Floristry, and Hairdressing.
